I want to say thank you for your interest in sponsoring our summer events at Thomas Park. The community partners are a vital part to the success of our events. We provide a family fun environment for our residents and surrounding communities to enjoy such as bands, DJ, and family fun nights. All events are at no cost to our residents. The village has built a concession-style building, known as the Village Grill, that provides items such as drinks, snow cones, popcorn, and food hot off the village grill that can be purchased. Many residents take advantage of the meal deal and have dinner at the park. The pork chop sandwich is our best seller!
The money used from the sponsorships will help offset the cost of the entertainment that we schedule for the summer. This year we are providing a sound company that will be there for every event. This will maximize the sound quality for all bands that play at the park. Most bands that we hire are in the range of $1500-$5000 for a night of entertainment. Our attendance has grown from day one. We now average about 300-500 residents that enjoy the Saturday evenings at the park and we are looking to grow that again this year.
Attached is a sponsorship form that explains the benefits of the different levels of donation amounts. All of the levels can be tweaked depending on the needs of our sponsors. We firmly believe that it is a partnership between the business and the village to make this happen for our community.
