The Village Board approved on Thursday, March 17, 2022 to add numerous stop signs along Washington and Myers to help combat the complaints of speeding along Washington Street and on Myers Street.
The Intersection of Grant & Washington, Moore & Washington, and Myers & Crestwood will now be a 4-Way Stop.
Police Chief Bernardi, stated "We have had a growing number of complaints for speeders along this section of roadway. I feel this would be the best course of action to help slow people down, and keep people safe while walking or riding bicycles."
The Village will notify residents of the date of installment for the new signs.
